KITAS

Types of KITAS

Process of Obtaining KITAS
Preparation:

Documentation: Gather required documents such as a valid passport, a recent photograph, a letter of sponsorship, and other specific documents based on the type of KITAS.

Sponsorship: Obtain a sponsorship letter from an Indonesian individual or organization.

Application Submission:

Online Application: Submit the KITAS application through the Directorate General of Immigration’s online portal.

In-Person Submission: Visit the local immigration office to submit the application and complete biometric data collection (fingerprints and photographs).

Approval and Issuance:

Verification: The immigration office will verify the application and supporting documents.

Payment: Pay the required fees for the KITAS processing.

Issuance: Upon approval, the immigration office will issue the KITAS card.
Extension of KITAS
Eligibility for Extension:

KITAS holders can apply for an extension before the permit expires. The extension period varies depending on the type of KITAS.

Extension Process:

Documentation: Prepare updated documents such as a valid passport, current KITAS, and a new sponsorship letter.

Application Submission: Submit the extension application through the online portal or at the local immigration office.
